After what started out to be a brief hiatus turned into a couple months of radio silence. But your host, Frank Roche, is back with a new show with three stories: one about a hand cancellation experience at a post office in Minnesota; a second story about a man who listened to short-wave radio during WWII and sent postcards to families if he hear their solider was alive; and a third about meth-laced postcards being sent to prisons. Yep. Welcome back.

Yay! You’re back – I missed these episodes!
Yay, you’re back! Couple of thoughts about the most recent episode, I wonder if anybody ever did LSD stickers on a postcard. Would that even be possible? Also, on your thought about scented postcards. I read an article about how the postal service is concerned about the scratch and sniff postage stamps that came out – the ones that had popsicles on them. there was concern that postal workers who had fragrance sensitivities would be adversely affected by those stamps going through the mail. Just a thought, maybe more research should be done.thank you for sharing my commute with me, it was good hearing your voice again.
Oh my…LSD on a postcard. HMMMMM…now I’m doing some research. As always, thanks much for listening.
