Magda sent me a gift of new sets of designs she created to add to the very impressive body of work at Travel Trinkets Canada. I’m proud to say I have all the cards Magda has created. It’s not often a person can say they have a compete set in a collection. I now have several albums filled with postcards from this talented designer (and mother to the cutest Basset puppy of all time).

I want to stay in a glass igloo and see the Aurora Borealis
Terrific wordplay. I forking love these.
Yes, Albert the Hound has his own postcards! Cutest pup on the internet.

Here’s an article that nicely summarizes cognitive awe.

Wow, those postcards are cool! Magda is a great artist, her designs are so good. Indeed, Albert is the king!
Thank you for sharing that article. Wow, never heard of cognitive awe before but I think I practice that sometimes.

You live in a place where you can have lots of cognitive awe. You have the ocean. Big rivers. The Andes. I mean…Tierra del Fuego. Jacarandas.

Looking across water is a good way for us to fee cognitive awe. I always liked the idea that we can rewire our brains by looking up. By paying attention to things that make us feel connected to the universe.

I have heard the audio! Wow you did fun stuff at work! I was thinking about it: the river, the birds, the ocean, the moon, the stars, the mountains. Yes!
And who doesn’t want to go to those igloos to watch the auroras? Those postcards are perfect to make us reconnect with the world.

Another wonderful post! I agree – there is so much in this world too awe us.
And it’s about time that Albert got his own postcards.

Isn’t Albert just the most precious pup?
